Big Mutha Truckers

A very simple game on April 25, 2008

This is a very simple or maybe you would call it a basic game. It begins by picking one of the available "truckers" and then driving from city to city buying products at the lowest prices and then driving to another city to sell those products at much higher prices. But you do not get to set the prices, they are set by the game and are non-negotiable. You win the game by having more money at the end of 60 days, which equates to 60 trips, than any of your rivals. When you enter a city I recommend selling your goods immediately then going to the garage and refueling and repairing. The next step is going to the bar, at the bar as for advice from the waiter or waitress, then back to the buy screen where you want to buy something with two downward pointing arrows that signify the price is very low. If the recommendation from the waiter is priced low, go ahead and follow the advice and buy that product, if the price is not very low then don't bother. Once you have purchased a low priced product head out to a neighboring city. When you pull into the new city sell your good only if they are offering a nice profit, otherwise move onto the next city. From time to time the waiter will give you a task to complete, I always recommend doing the task as they tend to pay off much larger than any haul you may make. I ended my first game with 16 million dollars which handily beat the closest rival who had less than 8 million dollars. So I went back to the garage and kitted my truck out with all of the upgrades so I could finish the missions which is the second part of the game. They were all very easy with the exception of the "Escort" mission which requires you to follow a civilian pickup truck, once I understood that was the challenge it was also easy. For me this game holds very little re-playability, it is simple, has few options, and the only thing you get for winning is unlocking another truck. I may take another pass at the game playing the unlocked truck, but I doubt it.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

Shake the carpets and suits of armor on March 01, 2008
When you see a suit of armor that is not standing straight, cast repulso multiple times until the armor is properly standing, it usually takes three times with the armor striking different poses each time. Also, many rugs in the halls will produce points to level you up.
