This entry in the Mahjong Haou series features a number of new modes of play. As the title would suggest, the most exciting news is the new Battle Royal mode, which allows eight players to take part in survival mahjong. Don't worry, beginners -- standard four player mahjong is also included. The new "Mahjong Tora no Ana" mode is also included for the first time, putting your mahjong skills to the test as you tackle a number of tough challenges.

Development on Mahjong Haou: Battle Royal was supervised by the Japan Pro Mahjong Association and features a mix of 34 real and fake players. This Japan-only release is set at a budget price of 2940 yen.
