Dance Dance Revolution Party Collection, released in December 2003 in Japan, continues the tried-and-true dancing/rhythm gameplay found in all of the popular Konami DDR titles. That means hitting the right spot on the dancing mat controller at the right time to match the arrow markers on screen. Party Collection is designed as a beginner's pack. Albeit regularily priced, the package includes the all-important dance mat to give newcomers everything they need to throw a DDR party for their friends. The game features 40 different songs, full-motion video clips (instead of the previous, animated backgrounds), and a much bigger number of characters than ever before.
