Alternate version of Duel Masters 2, featuring series star Shobu Kirifuda. Released in Japan as Duel Masters 2 Kirifuda Shobu Ver. the game enables players to assemble a deck of 40 cards (out of a total of 500 Duel Masters trading cards) and challenge rivals in one-on-one battles. The special powers and strategies that lead to success are identical to the trading card game. In addition to starring Shobu, this special version also offers a new storyline taking directly from the manga Duel Masters: Kettou no Shindenhen, including cards, events and new, powerful characters not found in the original game, including OotaQ and P-Chan. The game is of course compatible with the previous title, so link-up and trading is possible.
