Beat the game once, then buy "Hard Mode" from Hachi for a steep 1000 points.
Afterwards, hit select when starting a new campaign and get ready to lose!

Lab Locations

The only way to build Neotanks in Campaign mode is to find a lab map by capturing a specific city in a normal mission, and then beat the new lab mission that pops up.
Note that you have to do this in each country.

Orange Star: Flak Attack Mission: City north of your HQ, within range of your units starting positions.

Blue Moon: Toy Box Mission: SW-most neutral city, AKA: the one on the weird island.

Yellow Comet: Show Stopper mission: SW-most neutral city.

Green Earth: Sinking Feeling mission: Southernmost city on the western island

Unlock Drake - clear the Green Earth Campaign
Unlock Eagle - clear the Green Earth Campaign
Unlock Olaf - clear the Blue Moon Campaign
Unlock Grit - clear the Blue Moon Campaign
Unlock Hachi - clear any campaign on Hard Mode
Unlock Hawke - clear any Campaign Mode
Unlock Kanbei - clear the Yellow Comet Campaign
Unlock Sonja - clear the Yellow Comet Campaign
Unlcok Adder - clear any Campaign Mode
Unlock Jess - recruit Drake or Eagle and Jess will be available
