This is the best GTA game ever made, period. It has all of the old features of the other games but this time you could customize your player. The game has a great RPG element thats right a GTA were you can customize your player's cloths, hair, weight, muscle and many other's. The story is just gangsta it has all of these things that make the game a one of a kind gem. I played this game a lot and I am happy that I sent this game to someone else to enjoy.

While the main GTA feeling stays, playing it on an Xbox just feels cramped, GTA belongs on PlayStation.

This game took me about a month and a half to beat 100%, and 30% was with a guide. Also, this game is incredibly fun to play even after perfecting.

Fun addition to the GTA series

Loved GTA from the start. Theres always something to do, and most of the time you find yourself doing things that have nothing to do with the storyline of the game. The last missions in the game are really challenging, and even if you do manage to beat the storyline, there are tons of side missions and explorable areas. This will keep you interested for a long time.

Given the endlessly bad press it receives, you'd almost think Grand Theft Auto was the ruin of Western civilization. But while its hooker-beating and indiscriminate violence come up every time some culture critic wants to rag on digital entertainment, gamers have their own reasons for liking it. Reasons like limitless freedom, unfettered exploration and infinite possibilities for running over old ladies at high speeds. And with Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, you'll get more of that stuff than most people can handle.
Giving players three full-sized cities to go nuts in, San Andreas is the biggest chapter in the urban car-crime series, as well as one of the most convincing virtual worlds ever created. As former gangsta Carl "CJ" Johnson, you'll explore the massive, fictional state of San Andreas, a California/Nevada hybrid complete with analogues of Los Angeles, San Francisco and Las Vegas, with miles of countryside and small towns in between. It's all supported by an epic, misison-based storyline that takes CJ and friends from fighting lowly turf battles to pulling jobs for the CIA to planning a massive casino heist. And then, as the game winds down, they'll finally go gun-to-gun with the people behind CJ's misfortunes.

The first time I played Grand Theft Auto III extensively, I was amazed by its creators' vision and style. GTA III delivered some of this generation's most influential game design and simultaneously reached previously unseen mass commercial success. The design was planned; but the success? Well, selling more than 7 million units within a year was way beyond anyone's imagination. Grand Theft Auto: Vice City saw a change in style, the excessive use of the color pink, and one of the best all-time soundtracks included in a videogame. Interestingly enough, it also added a voice to the lead character Tommy Vercetti, which had previously been a verboten subject in the videogame world. Oh, how far we have come.

This game is great but people ruin their experience with it when they use cheats. I use cheats to but after i beat the game then if i want i go through the game again with cheats. Yes i know its easier when cheats are active but its not a challenge, now if u try to beat the san andreas game without cheats believe me your gonna have your work cut out for yourself the easiest levels turn into your hardest of missions but if your an experienced GTA player then you've got an edge over noobs cause well they're noobs. This game has all the great qualities of any awesome RPG, but it could of had create a player mode, that is the one thing that i am hoping for in the next GTA. overall the challenge is like playing halo 2 on legendary when all you have is a pistol. but thats just my opinion everybody has their own and this one is mine. i give this game 5 stars.PEACE.

This game is great to get your yaya's out in the comfort of your own home. However, it got pretty boring after a while. You can only jack cars and bash in old lady's heads for so long before it's time to pop in a different game.
The missions are pretty cool and it really helps to learn the maps so you aren't lost when he cops are coming.
The funnest thing to do is go into the cop shop (either get arrested or just do it the safe way and walk in). Then find all the armor and put it on - there are usually two sets somewhere there. Now brace yourself, pick up a weapon and get busy building up wanted stars. The goal is to make it out the front door and as far down the street as you can with the most wanted stars.
See, once things get boring playing the standard missions, you gotta get crazy sick to entertain.
Do it!
In the top 3!

This game has sooooo many side missions and free roam that it could keep someone busy for many, many hours!! I've put about 100 hours into this game and haven't gotten everything yet. So this is well worth the retail cost!
I suggest that if your planning on buying this title, get the: Grand Theft Auto Trillogy set for xbox 1. That includes this title, vice city & GTA III ... for about $20. Thats WELL worth it!! Hope you have much fun as I did!! ;)
