Not very fun...

I have only put a few hours into this game. The main reason is its just not fun. The graphics are average at best compared to other games out for the 360. I think I have been spoiled by Gears of War...

This game is probably one the most fun games out for the xbox360 it brings strategy games to the consoles. When some people say its not fun (not all people) its 'cause they are either to lazy to be patient with a strategy game or they just suck

A great example of how RTS can work on a console.

If you like RTS games, you probibly know that there aren't very many on consoles. For years the common opinion was that they simply don't work on a gamepad; you need the precision of a mouse and keyboard. But EA decided to take the risk, and it payed off. BfMEII is the first RTS game for a console that really works. Similar to the way Goldeneye 007 showed that FPS works on a console and suddenly the genre started poping up everywhere, BfMEII really paved the way for RTS on the 360. The online is fun, the single player missions are very well thought out, and the AI can usually beat you if you turn it to Hard or Brutal. All in all, an extremely fun game if you like RTS games and consoles.
Apologies...

My review gave it 1 star. That was a mistake, I wanted to give it 4. Sorry...
For RTS fans who don't own/like playing on PC

The first RTS I ever played was Warcraft 2, and I loved it. Once I got into college though, I really didn't want to play PC games (and I was never really a big fan of them in the first place), but I was always itching for an RTS. I tried a few of the Command and Conquer ports on PS1, but never really had that same feel. Every time an RTS was tried on a console, it never really seemed to pan out because of all of the control issues. Well, I think EA pretty much nailed it as good as can be hoped for with this game. The action is still fast an fun, but the control of the game makes everything manageable. It was so much fun getting to play an RTS again after such a long time and have so much fun mining resources, building fortresses and armies, and defending and attacking. This game offers several great modes includind two different single player campaigns, evil and good, a skirmish mode, and online multiplayer. If you like som action with your strategy, or some strategy with some action, this is the game for you. This is an RTS done right on consoles.
