About Me

Hi all, I consider myself a new gamer, ("new" at least since it has been my late tens... early teens when I was into coin-op games.) I grew up on the original Donkey Kong (yet intil now, wasn't into Mario(it being a platformer,) )..., Qix, Galaga, Tempest... (in that era.) I sorta got turned off games when things went to like Street Fighter, Mortal Combat, etc... when the gameplay controls became so complex for making moves, although I would play things like FPS's House of the Dead... on occasion if passing an arcade. Like If I got into a Dave and Buster's place I would try some of the new technology stuff... I found those interesting, but only for a taste. I liked those skiing or motorcycle games where you would stand/sit on the controls and move and flex down the course. My first console ever is the Wii, December 2007, it got me into games and so I bought myself a DS lite (Onyx)as well. My fiancee also like me, same age, not into games... took my DS away from often enough (she likes the puzzle stuff, i.e. Picross, Polarium, Touchmaster, Brain Age) I bought myself another Onyx DSL. I mention the color because when the Cobalt came out i thought it was a hot color... I bought it as well and it is still in the box. (I must be a nut!?!) Anywho... I went on a mad rush and bought about 50+ DS games and 25_ Wii Games. I should have realized you really can't go from game to game withought finishing one, I have staarted so very MANY games and have yet to finish one. I have made it a point to finish games I start now. I am working on 007 Nightfire for the GC on Wii. I'm at the point where I have discovered what types of games I like and weeding out the ones I don't. I sold a few here and there on Ebay to slim down my collection and came upon this site...
